Available programs include PhD in Molecular Biomedicine (Italy) and MSc/PhD in Tropical Medicine (Thailand).
The Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST–PCHRD) invites qualified Filipino students to apply for the 2026 Foreign Graduate Scholarship (FGS) Programs, offering fully supported opportunities to pursue advanced degrees abroad in priority health research fields.
These programs aim to develop a pool of highly skilled Filipino researchers who will contribute to the country’s health research capacity, economic development, and global competitiveness.
PhD in Molecular Biomedicine
In collaboration with the University of Trieste and Fondazione Italiana Fegato, Trieste, Italy
• 1 PhD slot open to MD or Master’s degree holders
MSc / PhD in Tropical Medicine
In collaboration with Mahidol University and the SEAMEO TROPMED Network, Bangkok, Thailand
• 2 MSc slots open to Bachelor’s degree holders
• 1 PhD slot open to MD or Master’s degree holders
