Anchored on the theme “Harnessing Local Brilliance for Global Competitiveness,” the event showcased innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial excellence among students while reinforcing the university’s commitment to research-based and community-responsive education.

The Business Innovation Fair 2026 aligned with the goals of the College of Business and Accountancy to develop ethical business professionals who are socially responsible and actively engaged in nation-building. It also reflected RSU’s vision of nurturing a globally competitive workforce geared toward sustainable development.

The program began with registration from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., followed by the opening ceremonies led by Ms. Marielle Claud, Governor Staff of CBASO. The morning program included the National Anthem and an audio-visual presentation, with opening remarks delivered by Dr. Joanne Ricamora-Dalisay, Associate Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy. Inspirational messages were given by Dr. Emelyn F. Montoya, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

An overview of the activities was presented by Ms. Apreal Joy Narciso, Governor of CBASO, while the introduction of the panel of evaluators and the reading of criteria were facilitated by Ms. Laira Faye F. Fajutina, CBASO Public Relations Officer. The competition featured events such as MarketThink: Quiz Bee, Local Product Digital Promotion Poster Making, Business Plan Pitch, and AdVenture: Commercial Making Contest, showcasing the participants’ creativity, business acumen, and strategic thinking.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony and the awarding of certificates, followed by closing remarks from Mr. John Andrie Magracia, Vice Governor of CBASO. The program formally ended with the singing of the RSU Hymn and an audio-visual presentation, with Mr. Dhen Vher R. Camino served as the Master of Ceremonies.
